It’s a Music, Art, Dance and Drama filled week in Pine Tree

This week in Pine Tree class we have embraced MADD (Music, Art, Dance and Drama) week fully. We have enjoyed learning lots of new things incorporating the theme ‘Around the World’, during a variety of daily activities. The activities involved making garlands with Shreya out of tissue paper, making instruments from around the world using recycled materials, taking part in Bollywood Dancing, designing and making our own t-shirts, a PE session with Paula themed around activities from around the world, collaging flags, drama workshops, world food tasting based activities, a John Morrow music session, a Zumba session with Andrew and finally to finish the week we will be celebrating MADD week with a whole school carnival in the hall. During this we will wear our t-shirts we designed and our garlands, take our musical instruments we made and put into practise some of the new dances we have learnt throughout the week.

A fantastic week of learning developing our cultural capital and knowledge of the world around us.
