Oak Tree Class: A busy week!

Happy Friday! We had a lovely week in Oak Tree this week!  

In Numeracy we have continued working on our weighing skills, including making flapjacks with our parents on Open Morning! We really enjoyed this, and some of the parents felt like they were in bake off! Some of our students even helped with the washing up, and they did a super job.  

In Literacy, we have been continuing this half term's topic of Poetry. We have been looking at rhyming words and how to perform a poem. We all had a go at performing the poem ‘I am a Tree’ and did the actions and performed it with loud voices! Well done everyone! 

On Friday, we went to the Ribby Hall Music Festival and did an incredible job. We were responsible for our own instruments, ensuring we had the correct ones when we needed them, independently. Some of us even helped our friends! We are all so impressed with how well we did, and we represented Pear Tree School brilliantly. Well done!
