Elm Tree Class: A lovely week

Hello everybody.

What a great week we have had in Elm Tree!

We are all extremely excited for our Music Festival performance at Ribby Hall on Friday, we have been practicing this with Anna and added the final finishing touches on Wednesday afternoon during our music lesson. After all, singing and dancing is definitely an Elm Tree Class favourite.  We can’t wait to show off our amazing talent.

As part of PSD this half-term we have been focusing on the difference between kind and unkind and recognising the contrast. As a class we enjoyed acting out kind and unkind scenarios. We had to decide whether each scenario was right or wrong and if wrong explore the different ways we could make it right. We did amazing at deciding between right and wrong as well as relating this to being kind and unkind.

On Thursday morning we had a lovely visit from some of our parents as it was Upper School open morning. And what a lovely morning we all had, we each designed our own recipe for fruit salad choosing the fruits we like and even some fruits we had never tried before for those feeling adventurous! Next we gathered all the equipment we needed and began chopping our fruits. We then enjoyed our fruit salads for our snack along with a nice glass of orange juice.

It’s been a very busy week but we have had great fun.
