This week in Challenge Time, we have been creating different pieces of art inspired by the work of Andy Goldsworthy as part of our creative curriculum theme, ‘Our Wonderful World’. Pupils used a range of natural materials, including sticks, leaves, stones and seeds, to create different natural bugs, following a visual aid.

Whilst creating their bugs, pupils continued to develop their social interaction skills by participating in the activity alongside their peers, as well as their communication skills by using a communication board to confidently express which materials they required. I’m sure you will agree that they have created some fantastic pieces of artwork.
