What a super week in the Compass Centre! Pupils have continued their Literacy work with extension tasks to form descriptive sentence and try follow photo schedules to complete tasks without adult verbal instructions- peace and quiet for the pupils ha ha! In Numeracy pupils have been applying their money skills both on site and in the community, plus practicing applying their weight and measure skills. We have applied these skills to then create bathbombs in Functional Skills lessons and create valentines chocolates in Enterprise sessions because we are now experts at measuring in grams! For Art it was our last week to explore a different textile decoration method, this week we explored embellishment! Next week we will be choosing our favourite method to decorate some valentines heart to give to the people we love- our families.
