Seedlings: Autumn Adventures in the Playground

This week, Seedlings had so much fun exploring outdoor play and seasonal change on our adventure playground.

The children practised tolerating others in their space and engaged in parallel play on the roundabout, trampoline and seesaw—developing early social awareness and interaction skills.

Seedlings are also learning to seek adult support when using equipment, building confidence in communication and problem-solving.

We explored autumn through our senses: crunching leaves underfoot and collecting conkers to count and examine their texture, shape, and colour. 

It’s been a rich week of learning through movement, nature, and peer interaction.
