Bay Tree: A Muddy Adventure
Date: 10th Oct 2025 @ 8:40am
This week in Bay Tree we’ve had lots of hands-on, sensory-based activities where the children have been exploring and discovering animals habitats linked to their science topic.
We set up different stations from sand for the desert, water for under the sea & oats for our reptile friends.
While the sand, oats, and water stations were a hit, the final activity turned out to be the most memorable, we made the ultimate muddy farm using cocoa powder.
The excitement grew as we added toy cows and sheep into the muddy scene. The children then took brushes & soapy water, just like real farmers, and got to work cleaning the muddy cows and sheep. This hands-on activity was not only fun but also an excellent way to explore how animals need care and attention in their habitats.
Another fun filled week Bay Tree!
