Bay Tree: Art, Space and Natural Materials

This week in Bay Tree, we have been focusing on the artist Richard Long. The children enjoyed exploring form and space through fun, hands-on activities. The children focused on creating circles and spirals using different pasta shapes. They also enjoyed stamping and chopping up clay, to create their own sculptures. One of the children's favourite activities was dipped and rolling polystyrene balls in paint to make colourful patterns and interesting textures. This helped develop their creativity, fine motor skills, and sensory awareness. Each child explored in their own way, making the activities engaging and enjoyable for all.
