Bay Tree: Dinosaurs come to life

This week our children have travelled back in time to the age of the dinosaurs!

Our classroom was full of excitement as the children became dinosaur explorers for the week, taking part in a fun, sensory activities.

All the child were given frozen and fizzy dinosaur eggs. Inside the ice & bicarbonate mixture was a baby dinosaur waiting to be discovered. The children explored different ways to melt the eggs, using warm water, vinegar, syringes and their hands. The children showed great focus and patience, carefully watching the changes.

They enjoyed the sensory experience of feeling the cold ice and warm water, and listening to the sounds as the eggs fizzed.
