Bay Tree: Exploring Living Things

This week in Bay Tree we have been busy scientists, exploring living things and the wonderful environment round us.

We started by exploring sensory trays full of natural things we could find around us, leaves, pine cones, sticks and bark. We also froze frogs and spawn, and melted them with warm water, and waited to see them slowly melt. But our favourite of them all was planting our own cress pots. The children took turns planting seeds and watering them with our watering cans. Lets hope the sun helps them grow.
