Bay Tree: MADD week

What a fantastic MADD Week we’ve had in Bay Tree. Throughout the week, the children have immersed themselves in all things Music, Art, Dance and Drama, enjoying a wide range of exciting sensory and creative experiences.

One of the highlights of our week was visiting the hall to enjoy a music band performance. The children loved listening to the different instruments, clapping along to the music, moving to the beat and experiencing the excitement of live music together. It was wonderful to see so many smiling faces and enthusiastic participation.

We also had a brilliant dance session with DanceSyndrome, where everyone had the opportunity to express themselves through movement.

As part of our learning, we explored music linked to the Americas, listening to a variety of rhythms and styles from different cultures. The children enjoyed responding to the music through movement, instruments and creative activities, helping them appreciate how music brings people together from around the world.

Across the week, the children also took part in a range of art activities, using their imaginations, to make party hats for our end of the week celebration with street musicians. It has been a joyful celebration of the arts, and we have loved making so many special memories together!
