Bay Tree: New start

Welcome back to a brand new school year! Our first week back has been full of excitement, creativity and lots of sensory fun. The start of the week was all about getting to know each other and exploring our classroom together.

This weeks topic has been linked to Art and inspired by the artist Paul Klee, known for his bright colours and bold shapes. The children explored different shapes, and used stampers, rollers, paint and felt tips to make their own bright bold ones.

In literacy, we explored emotions through the sensory story 'The Colour Monster'. Each colour in the story represents a different feeling, yellow for happiness, blue for sadness, red for anger and more.
