Bay Tree: Our Magical Wand Workshop

This week in Bay Tree, we have been having lots of fun getting creative during our DT sessions as part of our Spellbound theme. The classroom has been full of imagination, colour and a little bit of magic!

The children have been busy designing and creating their very own magic wands. Using paint, glitter and colourful tissue paper, everyone had the chance to explore different textures and materials to bring their magical ideas to life. There were plenty of smiles as the glitter came out and our classroom began to sparkle. The activity was a great opportunity for the children to develop their creativity and fine motor skills while also enjoying sensory exploration through different materials. Each wand was completely unique and it was wonderful to see the children taking pride in their creations.

We were also delighted to welcome parents and carers into the classroom for our open morning. It was lovely to share a glimpse of what we get up to in Bay Tree and to see the children proudly showing off their work. Thank you to everyone who was able to join us, the children really enjoyed having you there.

To make the week even more special, we also celebrated World Book Day. The children enjoyed exploring different stories and celebrating the magic of books together. The day was filled with storytelling, dressing up and lots of excitement as we shared some of our favourite characters and adventures.

It has been a wonderful week of creativity, imagination and celebration. Well done Bay Tree.
