Bay Tree: Seeing RED

What a fun filled end to half term in Bay Tree.

Inspired by our literacy story, Little Red Riding Hood, we have been exploring the colour red through a range of exciting, hands on activities.

From squishing strawberries, exploring apples, oats and colourful sprinkles, to splashing and pouring red coloured water, we have been busy using our senses, developing our fine motor skills and exploring cause and effect.

We also got creative making our very own masks using fluffy feathers, pom-poms and different red textures, alongside plenty of colouring and sensory fun!

Through shared activities, we have been exploring, creating, communicating and learning together making lots of lovely memories along the way.

A little bit of red, a whole lot of fun, and a fantastic end to half term! Well done Bay Tree.
