Bay Tree Class: The Magic Ice Cream Shop

We began our week with a sensory story that transported us to a magical ice cream shop, where each scoop had a spellbinding surprise. Learners explored textures, sounds, and even scents as they were introduced to different flavours. The story came alive, engaging all of our senses and creating lots of excitement!

Our focus in Numeracy was time, and what better way to explore it than through sensory timers and exciting countdown activities? The children watched as visual timers ticked away, and celebrated with confetti balloons, fizzy explosions and lemonade fountains when the timer finished.

In Music, the pupils made and decorated their very own rain makers using tissue paper, rice, foil, and feathers.

With the weather being as lovely as it has we decided to explore with water play with our Maple Tree friends. It was a fun way to cool down.
