Sixth Form: Bendrigg
Date: 1st May 2025 @ 4:18pm
Wow! What an amazing week away at Bendrigg we have had. We are so proud of our students, they have conquered their fears, tried new things and been an absolute pleasure to take away.
Day 1 of our trip consisted of lots of singing and excitement on the buses to get in the holiday spirit. When we arrived we had lunch and got straight on with our first sessions which was archery and the giant swing. We then went for tea and enjoyed a lovely evening walk where we enjoyed listening to the lambs bletting and took in the gorgeous views. It was then straight to bed for another busy day.
Day 2 was jam packed with fun and adventure. We went canoeing, caving, and went on the zip wire. The students pushed themselves to the max and gave everything a try and made themselves and staff feel extremely proud. We then enjoyed a campfire in the evening and of course it wouldn't be complete with toasting marshmallows and singing songs. During the campfire awards where presented to the students for all of their hard work.
On day 3 we packed up and headed back to school but on the way we took a detour to Lancaster where we enjoyed a packed lunch and ice cream- we had the perfect weather to match.
