Pine Tree: Dinosaurs in Pine Tree?

Welcome back everyone! We hope you’ve all had a wonderful Christmas and a lovely NewYear.

This term our creative curriculum theme is a ‘Journey to the Age of the Dinosaurs’ so you best believe we’re practicing our roars on a daily basis... you’re welcome.

Our literacy story that has been linked to our creative curriculum theme was ‘The Dinosaur Who Came To Dinner.’ We used our inspiration box to give us super exciting clues on what to expect.

In science we’ve been looking at materials, man made and natural. We’ve braved the cold to go to the adventure playground to explore the natural textures we could find including twigs, and bark.

In numeracy we’ve been learning and looking at measurements. We’ve looked at what sinks, and what floats, which piles have more and which have less, including what’s taller and shorter.
