Elm Tree Class Blog 01/12/23

Hi everybody,

Welcome to the latest Elm Tree Class blog.  THis  week we have been taking part in lost of different vocational activities for Pear Tree School's World of Work Week.

On Monday, we made flower place mats and tissue flowers for floristry and then used a vacuum former to make chocolate moulds.

On Tuesday we were learning about independence skills at school and home by cleaning the classroom and making a bed.

On Wednesday we were taking photographs and making photo frames in the morning and  in the afternoon we had a hair and beauty session.  We used a website to see what we would look like with different colourd hair and it was quite a shock!

On Thursday we we painting and decorating.  We made masking tape resist pictures and hung wallpaper.

And finally, on Friday we made soda bread, pizza pinwheels, cinnamon swirls and chocolate shortbread for catering.

We all had a great week and the pupils really enjoyed the different activities, although some of us decided hard work isn't really for us!
