Hi Everybody!

Welcome back to a new year at Pear Tree School and Elm Tree Class.  We hope you all had a fantastic break.

It has been Inspiration Week this week for our curriculum theme 'Time Travel' and we have been taking part in lots of fun and exciting activities linked to the theme and our new class story, “Supertato Mean Green Time Machine”.

So, this week we have been looking at fruits and vegetables, baby photos and making a time crystal recipe.

We have also watched excerpts from Back to the Future 1 and 2, which was really engaging.  We designed our own futuristic clothing and made a large DeLorean out of card and foil.

Finally, on the Inspiration Day we found that something had trashed the library…

We went on an archaeological dig to find fossils and bones, and made our own fossils and had a surprise prehistoric visitor.
