Hi everybody,

Welcome back the Elm Tree Class blog.

This week we are looking at what we did on our open afternoon.  On Tuesday, we opened our doors to say hello to parents and carers for an art lesson.  Frequent visitors will remember we are learning about the work of Georgia O’Keeffe and Frank Bowling, we linked this to 2 activities about the Colour Monster and tactile collage.

We used brightly coloured paint to mix our own colours for our monsters, there were some very interesting colours being used!  When we made our collages we used gummed paper, foil, felt and vivelle cut into various 2D shapes.  All the collages looked fantastic.
