Hi everybody!

This week, we have been very busy across all our lessons, but we especially wanted to share what we have been learning in numeracy. We have started a new topic: volume and capacity, and it has been great fun exploring and measuring the capacity of different containers.

With adult support, we have been investigating a range of tactile materials, filling and emptying containers, and talking about whether they are full or empty, as well as comparing which containers hold more or less. In addition to this, we have been learning how to use non-standard units-such as spoons, ladles, and small cups-to measure how much different containers can hold.
