Hi Everybody.

Elm Tree Class have had a busy and exciting week.  We have been learning about Neil Armstrong and the moon landing in literacy.  We have been using the story to find out facts about what happened.  Did you know the Saturn V rocket would cost $1,500,000,000 to build today?

In numeracy we have been practising using a ruler to measure planets, rockets, moons and astronauts in cm.

We have been doing lots of voting in PSD when learning about governments and elections.  The pupils have been thinking of reasons why they should be class Prime Minister.  This would give them the power to choose an activity when we have wet play.  This week the winner was watching The Little Mermaid on Disney+.  Fun times!
