Hi everybody!

Welcome to the final Elm Tree Class blog for this half term.  This week we have been working really hard to complete our Incredible You stories in literacy.  All the pupils have worked really hard to create their own version of the story by Rhys Brisenden and Nathan Reed.

We started the process by placing illustrations from the story in the correct order and describing what was happening using symbols, communication pages or by telling the adult.  We then changed the animals in the first half of the story and decided what they could be doing.  For the second half of the story, pupils chose actions or things that they were good at.  There have been some very imaginative actions including smelling stinky feet, playing Roblox, break dancing and eating sausages and mash!

Finally this week, the pupils read their stories in front of the class.  We all loved hearing all the different versions of Incredible You and I’m sure you will agree that all the pupils were incredible for what they wrote.
