Hi Everybody,

Welcome back to the Elm Tree Class blog.  This week in litercy we have been carrying out research about Neil Armstrong to use in the fact files we wil make about him.  We found out that he was born in Wapakoneta, Ohio and he had his first plane ride when he was 6 in a plane called a Tin Goose.

in numeracy we have been using multilink cubes and rulers to measure different objects around class and pictures of things lnked to Neil Armstrong.

We have been learning about government and elections in citizensip this half term and each week pupls have had a chance to vote for a class Prime Minister who chooses activities for class at dinner time and wet play.  This week, the winner was a pupil that said they would play the soundtrack from the Barbie Movie.

Finally, in DT pupils have use building blocks and TechCard to build bridges.  We made sure there were lots of triangles in our bridge because we have learned that triangles are very strong.
