Lets prepare for bistro in Sixth Form!

This week in hospitality the students have been practicing some of the job roles that you would find in a cafe/bistro. Some of the roles that the students were practicing were, waiter/waitress, cook, front of house and more. the students worked extremely hard at trying all the different jobs. This is to prepare for the students to open their own bistro that will invite different classes each week to join us. Then in the afternoon some of the class enjoyed a lovely sensory story about working in a bistro which they all enjoyed exploring different tastes, textures and smells. The other half of the group came together to prepare a shopping list ready for a few students to go out shopping to get the supplies we need to run the bistro. Whilst a couple of students went out to buy the supplies from the shop the others were tasked to check the fridge and cupboard for the dates on food and to dispose of outdated food if neccessary. What a brilliant job done by all today you should be proud of yourselves.
