Maple Tree: Diwali

This week in Maple, during our RE lessons, we have been learning all about the Hindu fesitval, Diwali! The children have loved exploring different types of lights, as well as designing our own Mehndi patterns. This Friday, we had a big Diwali party, which all th children loved! We traced fireworks in sand, listened to the story of Diwali and ate some tasty Hindu treats!
