Maple Tree: Fun with Food

We've had a great week in Maple Tree this week, we've especially been loving our outside time in this wonderful sunshine!

In our lessons this week, our favourite was definitely our communication session, Fun With Food, where we used all of our senses to explore some granola! The children loved using their ears to listen to how the granola clattered on the tables, using their touch to explore all the different foods in the granola, and especially loved using their mouths to taste it!

They all worked so hard with their communication to describe if it was dry or wet, crunchy or squishy and sweet or plain, well done Maple Tree!
