Maple Tree: Heat Wave!

What a week! The children have shown such wonderful resilience this week with the heat and have adapted amazingly to any changes in timetables, we've got some superstars in Maple Tree! We've loved our Music lesson with Anna, exploring all different types of instruments including drums, keyboards and triangles. In our Art lessons, we've been learning about different ways to make sculptures by using building blocks, as well as lollipop sticks and blue tac., they've all been so creative!

The highlight of the week for our children has absolutely been water play! They've been doing fantastic playing together and sharing, as well as helping keeping us teachers cool by splashing and playing with water guns! Thank you Maple Tree! We had a lovely visit from the ice cream van, as well as ice pop treats throughout the week, yummy!!

We're all so proud of how well the children have coped this week, and can't wait to see you all on Monday! Have a lovely weekend! :)
