Maple Tree: Our Wonderful Word

Welcome back Maple Tree!

We hope you've had a fantastic Easter holidays, it's lovely to see all the happy faces back at school! We've had a very busy week in Maple Tree, the children are loving our new half term topic 'Our Wonderful World', where we have been learning all about the animal kingdom! They've been loving our Makaton topic, where we have been learning about the signs for all different types of farm animals, as well as exploring their sounds in our phonics sessions. We've been testing our hearing and recognition skills by seeing if we can identify the animal by just their sound, the children have really enjoyed practising their own animals noises!
