Maple Tree Class: Mexico

This week in Maple Tree we've had fun during our Geography lessons!

We've been learning about Mexico! We've looked at the Mexican Flag and the colours we can see. We will be painting and decorating our own Mexican flag.

We've learnt about what kind of food they have in Mexico, such as some tortilla crisps, we even tasted some lime (to which some pulled the best silly faces to the sour taste of the zesty lime). We also had the chance to smell some seasoning/sauce. 

We tried on the sombreros and we learnt that they are worn to shield faces from the bright and hot sun during the day.
