New term, new numeracy fun in Compass

This week in Class 1 Numeracy we have been exploring measurement in grams and centimetres. Pupils have been using scales to weigh how heavy different containers are in grams and started to create weights in grams by adding spoonfuls of sand at a time watching the number on the scales rise!

Some pupils have then been challenged to use a ruler to measure how high the amount of sand fills the container in centimetres.
