Pine Tree: Numeracy

This week in Pine Tree we've been learning all about data handling.

We've worked really hard learning about bar charts and tally charts. We used a game online to practice how to count a bar chart, we used the interactive whiteboard to to play a game, we had to catch falling fruit and count how many we caught once it was recorded on the chart. 

After we nailed this, we took to creating our very own tally chart AND bar chart by recording what each of our friends favourite fruit was. We recorded the information on a tally chart first, then using our tally's we collected, we put the data into a bar chart.
