Our students had a wonderful trip to Ridgeway Farm, where they enjoyed a calm and engaging day in the fresh air. They had the chance to meet a variety of animals, including sheep, goats, and chickens, which sparked lots of excitement and curiosity. The staff supported each student to explore at their own pace, helping them feel confident and comfortable throughout the visit. Many students particularly loved feeding the animals and learning how the farm is cared for. The trip provided a great opportunity to develop social skills, independence, and sensory experiences in a safe environment. Overall, it was a memorable and rewarding day for everyone involved.
