Oak Tree class: World of Work Week
Date: 27th Nov 2025 @ 3:30pm
Hello everyone! We hope you’ve all had a fantastic week – we certainly have!
This week was World of Work Week, and we stepped into the exciting world of different careers. Our days were packed with amazing activities and hands-on experiences:
- Artist Visit: We explored the art of sculpture by creating snakes out of clay. The children learned various techniques for moulding and shaping clay. Their creativity really shone!
- Florist Workshop: We got festive by making our very own Christmas wreaths. The classroom smelt amazing!
- Bakers for a Day: The children baked delicious cupcakes and cookies, then sold them to other classes around the school. A perfect mix of fun and entrepreneurship!
- Hairdresser Talk: We learned about the importance of hair care and healthy brushing habits.
- BAE Guest Speaker: A fascinating session on 3D printing! Using iPads, the children designed their own creations, which were then printed using a 3D printer.
It’s been an action-packed week full of learning, creativity, and fun. We’re so proud of how engaged and enthusiastic the children have been throughout these activities.
Have a wonderful weekend, and we look forward to seeing you all next week!
Lots of love from Oak Tree Class.
