Oak Tree Class: Oak Tree's Electrifying week!

We can’t believe how fast this half term has gone! We are so proud of how well Oak Tree have settled in, and we hope everybody has had a fantastic week.

This week in Oak Tree we have been learning all about how electricity flows. We explored conductors and insulators and loved the hands-on demonstration to test which materials conduct electricity and which do not. From our investigation, we concluded that plastic is an insulator and metal is a conductor... a great discovery from Oak Tree.

As part of our vocational learning, we finished off our wooden initials project. Using paint rollers, wallpaper, and our creative imaginations, we brought our planned designs to life. The results were amazing, and we are so proud of everyone’s hard work and creativity.

We wish everybody a safe and relaxing half term, and we can’t wait to see you all back soon.
