Pine Tree Class: Makaton

This week our topic has been Makaton!

In makaton we’ve been learning about celebrations, Holidays and all the signs involved!

We’ve learnt signs to Happy Birthday then worked together make a birthday card, we’ve practiced signs and learnt about the celebration of light that is Diwali.
Thats not all, we’ve learnt about Eid and made a sun catcher, Hanukkah and made a Hanukkah menorah, Bonfire Night and used lollipop sticks and tissue paper and my personal favourite (and messiest) HALLOWEEN where we carved our very own pumpkin!
