Pine Tree: Science

Date: 1st Oct 2026 @ 3:48pm

This week in Pine Tree, we’ve been busy being scientists!

We have been exploring and investigating different sounds, listening carefully and identifying what they are and where they come from.

Using a variety of musical instruments, we discovered how different sounds can be made and how the way we hold or play an instrument can change the sound it produces. We also enjoyed walking around the school, listening closely to the different noises we could hear and discussing what was making them.
