Seedlings: Real life superheroes

We’ve had an exciting and inspiring week diving into the world of real-life superheroes - those everyday heroes who help keep us safe, healthy, and happy such as paramedics, doctors, firefighters and police officers.

We have been dressing up as brave firefighters, kind doctors, quick-thinking paramedics, and helpful police officers. With helmets, and hi-vis jackets, the children stepped  into the shoes of these real-life heroes. To bring these superheroes to life, we explored sensory stories full of action and texture - stories where we could hear the whoop of sirens.

After all the heroic play, what better way to cool off than with some paddling pool fun? We have loved splashing around to cool down in the paddling pool and afterwards we enjoyed having some lovely ice lollies.
