Pine Tree Class: Role playing in Citizenship

This week, our afternoon topic has been Citizenship, where our focus has been Respect for Property. At the beginning of the week we explored a book called Respectful Little Spot which is a story about respecting people, property and things. After reading the story, we explored different scenario cards and explained how we would feel in different situations. 

We then explored different job roles, tried on some outfits and acted out different scenarios that people in certain jobs would experience. Police officers are one of the jobs we explored, we found out what they did and how they helped us. We role played filling out incident forms and taking finger prints, we even pretended to arrest each other!

Thankyou to those parents that came and visited us on Open Evening! We're so proud of how the well the students did on transition morning, they took everything in their stride and all had lots of fun.
