Rowan Tree: Autumn Adventures
Date: 9th Oct 2025 @ 8:55am
We’ve had such a lovely week in Rowan Tree class. On Monday, we welcomed our families into school for Parents' Afternoon and it was wonderful to share all the exciting things we get up to with them. The children seemed to really enjoy having their families in school and all coped brilliantly when it was time so say goodbye (luckily snack time provided a welcome distraction).
As those who visited us discovered, our topic has been Autumn which we’ve been exploring in lots of creative and sensory ways. During our Attention Autism sessions, we’ve loved watching the colourful leaves falling around us. We’ve also been busy with lots of autumn-themed crafts and activities. From leaf printing and making autumn sun catchers to counting with salt dough pumpkins and exploring autumnal sensory trays. The classroom has certainly been full of colour, smells, textures and smiles.
