Rowan Tree: It may be cold outside, but we’re nice and toasty!

This week in Rowan Tree, our topic has been ICT. We’ve been learning all about algorithms and how to follow instructions. During our Attention Autism session, we watched as our teacher followed a set of instructions to make a beautiful rainbow appear. We then took turns to comple the final step by adding the fluffy clouds.

After that, it was our turn to get to work and follow some instructions of our own. Some of us created our own colourful rainbows and added clouds to finish the picture. Others programmed Bee-Bots to travel around a track by following step-by-step directions. The final group followed a sequence of instructions to make delicious toast with either jam or chocolate spread. It was a tasty treat, and the classroom smelled amazing!
