This week in Seedlings, the children were full of curiosity as they explored a range of sensory activities. During Attention Autism, they were captivated by the story of five little fishes, watching closely and joining in with smiles and splashes of excitement.
In our blue water play tuff trays, the children experimented with shallow water, blue food colouring, floating sea creatures and wind‑up toys. They loved watching how the toys moved through the water and enjoyed the calming, ocean‑themed play.
We also explored green rice trays filled with shells, where the children practised using large tweezers to pick up and move objects — brilliant for building fine‑motor skills.
Throughout the week, the children also began to show early understanding of technology, learning how to turn on and operate simple digital equipment with growing confidence.
A wonderful week of exploring, discovering and learning together.
