This week in Seedlings, we explored Literacy: Writing and continued the story Commotion in the Ocean. The children loved joining in with Five Little Fishes and diving into our themed tuff trays, from a sharkâtooth hunt in blue rice to a sensory art tray filled with blue paint, sponges and bubble wrap. They began to understand and enjoy how to make marks while fully enjoying the sensory experience, and many children also had fun while learning and practicing how to draw and write on both paper and screen.
With the warm weather, water play was a huge hit. The children had so much fun splashing, pouring and cooling down together. It's been a really great week in Class Seedlings.
