Seedlings class: Shapes in Numeracy

This week in Seedlings we explored numeracy through shapes. The children enjoyed working with both 2D and 3D forms using inset puzzles, peg boards, stacking games, and building activities. These activties helped them begin to recognise shapes, shape vocabulary and properties. Seedlings compared flat and solid forms, and experimented with balance and construction.

All of the children showed clear preference and enjoyment for different activities, and it was lovely to see them independently and enthusiastically explore.
