Sixth Form: Community Action

Date: 1st Oct 2026 @ 3:45pm

This week, the Sixth Form blog will tell you about the vocational group who take part in Community Action. In the morning, they have been learning about Harvest and how people use this as a way to give thanks for the wonderful things they have.

Some students have been enjoying a sensory story, which teaches them about harvest festivals and what happens during them. Another group has been creating cards for people who have helped them and then delivering the cards in person.

In the afternoon, the group takes part in a variety of games that focus on teamwork and having fun. This helps them to understand the importance of community spirit.

We have been working hard in all our lessons and can't wait to see what next week will bring!
