Sixth Form: Duke Of Edinburgh

Some of our students have been working towards their Duke of Edinburgh Award with teacher Sam.

They always look forward to this session and they chose to have their focus on chess this term. The students have been learning all the complex rules there is to a chess game. Sam tells me that they have all been doing so well and been putting their new skills they have learnt to the test, whilst having games of chess between the group. A lot of healthy competitiveness has been witnessed by Sam and the supporting adults.
