Sixth Form: Performing Arts

We have had a marvellous week in Sixth Form. 

This week's blog focuses on our vocational subject, Performing Arts. During these sessions, the pupils have been learning about pantomimes. We begin each lesson with a range of warm-up games that encourage pupils to express emotions through their actions. These activities are great fun and are enjoyed by everyone. 

We then move on to exploring pantomimes in more detail. One group has been enjoying a sensory story all about going to the pantomime and what it might feel like to be there. Another group has been researching different pantomimes and is now writing about what they have learned. 

The day flies by, with everyone enjoying the opportunity to express themselves while learning more about pantomimes.
