Compass Centre: Spellbinding Stories

This week we have continued to get stuck in with our new Literacy stories for our Spellbound Theme.

In Class 1 students have been learning about the adventures of Harry Potter, Ron, and Hermoine at their magical school Hogwarts.

In Class 2 we have been enjoying a new silly story, Room on the Broom, and learning about all the animals (and a dragon!!), that the witch meets.

The Common Room literacy group have been enjoying a magical visit to the Emerald City through their new sensory story of The Wizard of Oz.

We have been busy with lots of follow up activities after our story work, to work on our fine motor, and handwriting skills, language development, and letter/sentence formations.
