Pine Tree Class: Spooky Week in Pine Tree

This week in Pine Tree class we have had a spooky time creating Halloween crafts; these included pumpkins, witches, and cats. The children had great fun exploring all the different materials, paints, and getting a bit messy.

In science we have been learning about shadows. We used lights to make things look bigger and smaller and created shadow puppets with our hands, and also with animal outlines. The children loved being monsters, butterflies and dogs.

We have also been practicing our play skills and playing with our friends. We’ve had the dolls house out, jigsaws and dolls. It’s been great fun sharing, playing together and learning to take turns.

We’ve had a jam packed half term and are looking forward to seeing you all after the break.
