Seedlings Class: Three Little Pigs
Date: 27th Jun 2025 @ 9:29am
This week, we went snout-first into a wonderful journey through the classic tale of The Three Little Pigs using a mix of creativity, storytelling, and hands-on exploration.
We started off with a fun and creative art session where the children transformed paper plates into adorable pig faces. With pink paint, wiggly eyes, squishy snouts, and lots of giggles, each pig had its own personality. Some were shy, others cheeky, and one or two looked like they might just outsmart the Big Bad Wolf!
We explored the materials from the story by building our own versions of the pigs' houses. Children experimented with real straw, wooden sticks, and bricks. Our sensory story session took the children on a multi-sensory journey through the tale. As we read, the children could touch and explore props like soft fur for the wolf, rough bark for the stick house, and crinkly straw.
We have had a lovely week, see you next week Seedlings!
